Japan has tipped Ghana as the global economic giant in the next decades. Although many Asian countries are global leaders in economics and trade, it is anticipated that Africa will be in the forefront in the years to come and Ghana will be a major catalyst for this.
The President of the Japan-AU Friendship Parliamentary League, Ichiro Aisawa made the projections when he led a delegation from Japan to meet with the Committee on Foreign Affairs of Parliament.
Mr. Aisawa said private sector investment from Japan will be multiplying soon on the continent.
He said already, Toyota, a Japan car manufacturer has a plant in South Africa.
