Mr Samuel Quadjie, Managing Director of Royal Systems and Services Limited (RS&SL), has appealed to financial institutions to lower interest rates in their bid to support indigenous firms to create jobs and wealth for all.

Mr Quadjie said amongst the challenges facing indigenous firms was extremely high interest rates which tend to increase cost of rates and services.

“We have had support from our banks and other financial institutions but a lot of transactions have come with numerous challenges mostly arising from the difficulty in understanding the dynamics of our business.”

He was speaking at the commissioning of Royal Systems and Services Limited (RS&SL) new office Complex at Dansoman.

Royal Systems and Services Limited is a firm that provides Technical Site Survey (TSS), telecom equipment installation, data centre installations, site maintenance including servicing and installation of generators among others.

The one story edifice known as Charity House, has comfortable working spaces for meetings for staff training and business engagements.

The Managing Director said the company which began its operations in 2008 with staff strength of three in small location at Kokomlemele, can now boast of 55 employees.

Mr Quadjie said RS&SL business turnover has also grown to over 2000 per cent over the past five years with major clienteles including Vodafone-Ghana, Hauwei Technologies, Eaton Towers, Tigo-Ghana, Ecobank E-process, Dizengoff-Ghana among others.

Mr Quadjie said in RS&SL quest to diversify its business prospects, it had acquired an industrial land to build a factory to produce steel trusses, roofing sheets and concrete products.

“It is expected to commence production by the third Quarter 2016,” he added.

He was not happy with the extremely high interest rates which tend to increase the cost thereby making them uncompetitive.

Mr John Kofi Mensah Chief Executive Officer of Capital Bank Limited, appealed to indigenous firms to reposition themselves and build capacities of personnel in order to remain competitive.

He said if indigenous firms continue to embark on capacity building, remained determined and courageous, they would be able to grow faster and jump onto the international market.

Mr Mensah called on employees to continue to rally behind their employers in order to attain rapid growth and urged them to stand up to all challenges that come their way adding it in these that you will have your breakthroughs.

Mr Contantaine Salemeh, Standford Seed Business Coach, noted it had taken the courage of Chief Executive officer of RSSL to reach that far.

He said it took management of RS&SL the courage to shape its vision to deliver excellent services to its clientele and enlarge its frontiers.

He was happy with management’s passion to execute the company' s vision over the years.
