The Chief Executive Officer of gold dealership firm, Menzgold, has rendered a 'sincere apology to the Bank of Ghana (BoG).
In a post on his instagram platform, Nana Appiah Mensah said: "Owing to the fallible nature of man, I sincerely apologise for my initial reaction to the Bank of Ghana press release”
He further indicated that "we’ve engaged and are cooperating with the Bank of Ghana and other state agencies to cordially resolve the matter in the interest of our beloved Republic of Ghana.”
Background
The BOG about a week ago, issued a statement on the business operations of Menzgold, cautioning the general public that the company’s not licensed to take deposits and or issue dividends.
But the Chief Executive of Menzgold Nana Appiah Mensah did not take kindly to the warning.
