Absa Bank Ghana Limited has awarded five of its loyal customers in its maiden “Change Your Story campaign” held at the Kempisky Hotel on Friday, August 30, 2024, with each customer receiving forty thousand Ghana cedis (Ghc 40, 000).
In July 2024 introduced the ‘Change Your Story campaign”, a campaign which is aimed at rewarding customers who have used their cards in transacting businesses, thereby embracing the digital banking solutions.
In a lottery draw powered by the National Lottery Authority (NLA), five customers were randomly selected to win the exciting cash price as a way of motivating them to continuously embrace the digital banking experience while encouraging other customers to join in the migration to online and digital banking and business transactions.
In a media engagement, the Executive Director, Retail and Business Banking, Mr. Kobla Nyaletey said, “The “change your story campaign” is aimed at encouraging and inculcating in Ghanaians, the use of digital and card media to make payment. We, as an economy want to move to the use of cards, digital and online channels to make payments moving away from cash. We also launched this campaign to encourage our customers and all Ghanaians as well as rewarding them for adopting the use of our cards..."
In addition to the GHC 40,000 awarded to each customer, the use of the card does come with benefits. For instance, anyone who uses any of the Absa cards gets discounts when they shop with partner institutions of up to 40%.
