The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has said it will reduce the prices of petroleum products on February 16.
This follows a 20% reduction on the 15% increment in fuel prices agreed upon by government and the Trades Union Congress (TUC) earlier this month.
The Chief Executive Officer of the NPA, Alex Mould, in an interview with Citi News said: Our board said they needed some clarification from the ministry so my board chairman is going to have a meeting with the minister next week.
He added: We have a scheduled price build-up review on the 16th of February so we should do it by or on the 16 of February.
