Meguin Oil, a German-based mineral oil and automotive lubricants manufacturer, unveiled its products in Ghana recently in Accra.

The products include lubricants and additives that would cater for the needs of private and commercial vehicles as well as heavy-duty vehicles for the mining, manufacturing and transportation industries.

Kingsley Albert Owusu, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Meguin Ghana, speaking at the launch, said the products have been in existence over a century and half with outstanding performance.

He observed that the company's highly qualified chemists develop lubricants for very specific areas of application in industry that are certified, adding that Meguin cautiously maintains quality in the manufacture of its lubricants and in the generation of new ideas.

Other products in the chain of Meguin oil lubricants are polyurethane for the chemical industry, bentonite greases for the construction and machinery industry and industrial gear oil for wind and energy plants.

'The long tradition of excellence we have chalked rests on the quality of raw materials delivered to our laboratory, which are checked to guarantee the highest quality before production,' he said.

He noted that the mineral oil developed and produced in Germany caters for the needs of industries that look out for the best quality lubricants since it is produced to meet international standards.

Mr. Owusu said that the products come with the best of prices available in the oil lubricant market.

'For us, affordable and quality are bedmates and so we strive to give our cherished clients the best of both,' he said.

He also added that the company uses environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes and maintains contact with environmental authorities to ensure that they meet the environmental standards and regulations.

'Consumers of oil and lubricants in Ghana would not have to look any further in their search for oil products to service light and heavy duty machinery,' he said.

Dr. Victor Osei, chairperson for the event, encouraged the company to put a premium on customers so as to excel in Ghana.
