Sales of used refrigerators, washing machines, split air-conditioners, kitchenware and furniture have seen an increase in the last three months, boosting hopes of a flourishing online market for sellers and buyers of home appliances.
Brands such as Samsung, LG, Sharp, Beko and Nasco enjoy high levels of patronage by consumers who prefer to look for great deals on used home appliances online.
A lot of these consumers attribute the rise in demand to the reasonable prices, the numerous choices available and the ease of closing deals online.
The biggest growth of online trading items was within the home appliances category where microwave ovens and refrigerators, recorded a growth of 270% and 233% respectively.
