SHIELD Acrylic Paint, the sole anti-fungal paint on the Ghanaian market, is set to unveil its new logo to make it more appealing and competitive.
The leading premium quality paint manufacturing company has about nine different products on the Ghanaian market. It has been operating in the country for the past seven years with pigments from an Italian based company, Italtinto. The company also approves the formulation of SHIELD paints and also guarantees the quality of its products.
In an interview with myjoyonline.com ahead of the media and customers soiree to unveil the new brand on Wednesday, Mariane Akiki Ohannessian, Marketing Manageress at Azar Chemical Industries Ltd, manufacturers of SHIELD, noted that the quality of the various products still remains the same.
There were no changes made to the formulation. Our SHIELD premium paint has always been of the highest quality. The decision to rebrand was mainly based on the desire to rejuvenate the logo giving the brand a modern and slick look.
She further explained that the rebranding was strategic because the visuals of a brand have to attract ones full attention at first glance, adding, the branding should not only mirror the quality of the paint but also the modern developments of this day and age.
Ms. Akiki Ohannessian admonished customers to always follow instructions, whenever they are applying any product to give them the best finishing. To ensure that their customers get the best, she said, the company has advisors, who educate clients on the application of the paints and other challenges they face.
She assured consumers that SHIELD would continue to give clients value for their money as it maintains its superior quality, which distinguishes it from the rest of the paints on the Ghanaian market.
Rustom R. Azar, Executive Director, was grateful to the companys consumers for their positive feedbacks and appreciation of products executed to meet their specification.
He said SHIELD has consistently been producing paints, which are able to compete with other imported paints. This, he further noted, should motivate local manufacturers to make quality their hallmark to enable them compete against foreign products.
Chester Annie, the media consultant to the Company, said the company will beginning January 2014, come up with stunning events to whip-up Ghanaians appetite for quality products.
Meanwhile, the company has launched its website, where consumers can get access to available information about their products.
