Tanink Ghana Limited, a member of the Tanink Group, distributors of Alfa Romeo, Fiat and IVECO vehicles, has acquired the franchise to deal in American luxury cars, Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep.

With this acquisition, managers of Tanink Ghana say they are now in a strengthened position to satisfy the yearning needs of their ever expanding customer base.

Even more importantly, they say existing users of the three brands of vehicles and prospective users who have had bated breath following the loss of franchise by the previous distributors of Jeeps, Chryslers and Dodge vehicle can now heave a sigh of relief.

Tanink Ghana reputed as one of the biggest suppliers of vehicles to government departments and agencies, other public and private institutions as well as individuals, says the addition of Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge to its distribution list marks a watershed in the company’s history.

The Team Leader for Chrysler brands at Tanink Ghana Ltd., Mr. Cyril Kumedzro, says the company’s excitement is beyond measure.

He said the exclusive dealership in the global giants and iconic brand of vehicles, noted for their class and robustness could not have come at a better time.

Tanink Ghana’s reputation as suppliers of durable, cost-effective, environmentally friendly, vehicles, he said, has been enhanced by the addition of the luxury fleet.

“We now offer a truly rich and mouthwatering buffet of class, comfort and prestige to our clients,” he stated.

Those who wish to drive the Jeep, a truly iconic & legendary 4x4 sport utility vehicle for the past 70 years can walk into a Tanink Ghana showroom from next year and explore the Jeep SUV & Crossover lineup for a truly go-anywhere, do-anything-experience.

To give customers a great experience, the Team Leader said, “We have made major changes to our existing showroom in Community 12, Tema, off the Accra-Tema Motorway which has been inspected and approved by a Technical Design Team from CHRYSLER Group. A second Showroom is under construction in Labone, Accra to bring our products closer to the residents and business entities operating within Accra. This ultra modern Showroom will house all the brands of the Fiat/Chrysler Group (including Alfa Romeo and Fiat vehicles).”

Touching on the technical capabilities of Tanink Ghana Ltd., to deal with problems of customers, Mr. Kumedzro said, apart from organizing refresher courses for the company’s already well trained technicians and customer service professionals to enable them effectively handle the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands, other technicians will be “trained abroad in January, 2014 to ensure our readiness to take up any support challenge. Tanink will also be recruiting some additional hands who have experience in working on these brands.”

He added that “Tanink has also renovated her existing Workshop / Service Centre in Tema, with the construction of Service Centres in Takoradi, Ho and a state of the arts “quick fit” service centre around the Tema Abattoir on-going.”

In addition, “We will use our mobile workshop to give rapid responses to customers who get distressed in remote areas and on the roads.”

He appealed to existing users of the three brands of vehicles to contact the company at [email protected] and provide their Name, Contact Number(s), Vehicle Model, Chassis Number and Year of make to be used to generate a database for easy servicing and other important information.

“Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep Customers stand to enjoy the same kind of First Class Service and attention that customers enjoy in advanced nations like the USA,” Mr. Kumedzro bragged.

Tanink, he believes, recognizes that owners of Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge are ‘no nonsense’ people and is determined not to disappoint.

“Our vehicle line-up is now a full range one. In the past Tanink was not able to satisfy the demand of our customers who wanted Luxurious SUVs. Now we have it,” he concluded.
