Consumers will from Saturday March 1, 2014 pay an average of 6 percent more for petrol, diesel and kerosene at the pump stations.
It follows the upward adjustment of prices of fuel products by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
Petrol now sells at 255.00 pesewas per litre.
Kerosene has also gone up by 6.12 percent and diesel 6.00 percent.
Diesel now sells at 265.00 pesewas per litre. Premix fuel, which has had virtually no change in price for the past few months, has now gone up by 3.45 percent. It is selling at 120.00 pesewas per litre.
The price of Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) saw no change.
