Innovative Microfinance ltd has educated over 200 traders on financial literacy. The training, organized by Innovative Microfinance Ltd was under the auspices of Jayset Consulting for its numerous and Prospective clients.
According to Head of Marketing and Business Development, Mr Peter Kuntu-Blankson, the program seeks to enlighten participants on the meaning of bookkeeping and its necessity.
He stressed that the training was also aimed at helping the traders to take better decision about their business.
By so doing, he adds that they can earn more money and reduce default. The use of diagrams was used to aid the traders in understanding the training. The training session was intertwined with observations and contributions from participants.
To ensure participants grasp the essence of bookkeeping fully, a short sketch was displayed.
Participants were engaged in a discussion on the sketch. They gave positive feedback through their contributions, suggestions and encouragement indicating that the sketch was well understood.
Dr. Jumana Sfarjilani, a medical doctor of Ghana Health Service, educated the house on breast cancer; causes, symptoms, effects and treatment.
Again, she demonstrated to participants on how to examine the breasts and encouraged it to be done on monthly basis. As expected, participants asked questions which were answered by her.
Certificates of participation were awarded to participants by CEO of Innovative Microfinance Ltd., Madam Sheila Azuntaba.
This saw over 200 people benefiting from the program.
