The Minister of Finance, Seth Terkper says the country’s tax laws have been updated to widen the tax net.He said the updated laws bring on board institutions such as the financial sector and airlines among others.
This move, seeks to empower the Ghana Revenue Authority to efficiently and effectively carry out its mandate. Mr. Terkper was speaking on the state of the economy on Uniqq FM in Accra.
On improving the Agriculture Sector, Mr. Terkper acknowledged the need to make more subsidies available to farmers. He said the introduction of Farmers Service Centres will further boost the sector.
