Boss FM's Kwaku Ahenkorah has given his opinion on the decision to leave the Inter man in Italy during the AFCON in January.

After Ghana announced their final squad for the African Nations Cup, eyebrows were raised as a result of the exclusions of skipper Stephen Appiah and midfielder Sulley Muntari.

While the exclusion of Appiah was blamed on calf and knee injuries he is currently nursing and his inability to recover in time for the tournament, Muntaris remains a mystery.

Goal.com decided to find out what Ghananian radio sports journalist Kwaku Ahenkorah of Boss FM thought on the issue.

From day one, the coach has never liked his attitude in the national team. He flouts authority and disobeys tactical instructions on the pitch. The coach informed the Ghana Football Association, who have tried to talk to him, but he wouldnt change, Ahenkorah said.

The coach Milovan Rajevac tried his level best to assure the debacle would be sorted out, but Muntari did not want to budge according to the Boss FM sports presenter.

The coach flew to Milan to speak to the Italian-born striker Mario Balotelli to convince him to play for Ghana through Muntari and Appiah. Muntari snubbed the national team coach, but believe me, Ghana can still do it without him anyway.

"We played well against Mali and Sudan without him, Udineses Kwadwo Asamoah and the Qatar-based Opoku Agyeman are much better than Muntari. Ahenkorah added.

All this happened about a month ago according to the sports guru, who says that Ghana can live without the big-headed Muntari.
