The truth is bitter and Tsatsu Tsikata has decided not to mince words, when he took on Justice Anim Yeboah for being bias towards the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the election petition that was decided on August 29.

He did not stop there, he went on to give instances and examples that in his estimation the Supreme Court judge had never been favourable to members of the NDC.

It is sad how we have all decided to bury our heads in the sand and behave like ostriches.
What wrong has Tsatsu said that the hawks in NPP have started circling and descending on him, cant we for once agree that some of our Judges are bias.

Former President, John Agyekum Kufuor, have decided to also attack Tsatsu for daring to mention the obvious.

What surprised us is the manner in which the former President tried to make the matter his, when in fact he was not the one Mr. Tsikata attacked. We could only conclude that he has something to hide or perhaps the manner in which Justice Anim Yeboah was appointed to the Supreme Court was questionable.

The NDC have chosen as usual not to jump to the defense of Mr. Tsikata, or if any at all they are not forcefully and vociferously defending him as we will have expected.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP), would have given everything to defend Tsatsu Tsikata had he been a member of the party.
Their members said worse things than what Tsatsu said, yet against all wisdom, they defended them and shielded them, when everybody thought they were going to be sanctioned.

The General Secretary of the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, referred to a judge as looking like a deity and a voodoo, that was more personal than what Mr. Tsikata said, yet vigils were kept across the country to pray against his incarceration, when he was summon for contempt.

Ursula Owusu referred to the President as a thief. We did not hear anybody condemn such a reckless and irresponsible statement.

If we have noticed anything, it is that the NPP and its allies think that everybody should bow to them, and that what they say is the gospel truth.

It is time the NDC also learn to defend and protect people who sacrifice for them.
