Is God Punishing Humanity For Our Iniquities?

It is bad news to hear anything coronavirus from the last one month. The strain and stress on nations, governments, institutions, health facilities and religious bodies as well as general life’s situation is horribly getting off hand.

The pandemic is happening as though there is huge wave of sand dust blown from the dry beaches of uninhabited resorts.

Any hope?

Except few recoveries from the infections that seem to give small hope to mankind to breathe a sigh of relief, everything jams up to annul the small hope when new deaths and infections are announced.
This brief and hard-hitting write up on “disobedient” countries will give every reader some small pulsate of the wrong bearings of the human race on one side, and God the ever instructive instructor, creator of the universe and all things therein striking His whip.

Synopsis

I make a beep strapping search and analyse the toll of the coronavirus (Covid 19) pandemic on mankind and nations and conclude that Covid 19 as researchers have come to name it, is not an ordinary living organism seen through the microscope to come up with such a conclusive name.

Researchers must concede that this pandemic is beyond science and that only reformation of attitude in mind about God and His powers as creator and owner of creation in its totality should be the way to go. The conception of such right to the creator becomes a step to finding solution to the pandemic.

President Akufo-Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was right when he indulged Ghanaians to fast and pray on March 25, 2020 on his second national broadcast to the nation on the Covid 19, for God to have mercy on the human race and grant man the knowledge to find solutions to the pandemic; a clear sign of a religious and obedient nation led by a God-fearing and a God accepting leader.

The death toll from the Covid 19 sprang in camouflaging tactics, as some countries started recording deaths, some have over recorded infections and deaths and some now have declining status in mortality, while other countries have fluctuating figures to share to the world.

This merciless strain and punishment apparently and undoubtedly should be from God.

WHO Statistics

Figures from the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) site as at 1700hrs on March 24, had recorded 407,633 cases, 18,250 deaths 104,714 recovered cases, 284,669 currently infected patients with 272,122 in mild conditions and 12,547 in serious or critical conditions.

Italy, which would be the focus of this article has recorded 69,176 with new cases standing at 5,249 plus, with a total death at 6,820 and 743 new deaths, 8326 total recovery 54030 active cases, 3393 serious or critical with total infection cases per a population of million standing at 1,144 and total deaths in one million population at 113 cases within the same time.

Why Italy?

Focus is on Italy because that is the home of the papacy and to some extent Christendom, where the Pope commands more than half the world’s Christian population through the Catholic faith, and where it is generally believed to be the hub of spiritual affirmation.

Just to put it in a blunt straight jacket form, infections and mortalities in the last one month, Italy recorded, overwhelming, leading figures to shut down of every functioning spec of that country’s economy.

Countries and same-sex

It is important to note that some of the countries that have high numbers of infections and deaths and are those that have shamefully legitimized same-sex marriages and conveniently practicing it. The Bible in Leviticus 18:22 clearly states “do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.”

Again, in the same Leviticus 20:13, it states “if a man also lie with mankind as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”

Today, there are about thirty (30) countries in the world that have made proposals through their legislative bodies and legalized same-sex marriages in the name of human rights, and not God’s commandments and obedience.
The most surprising of the countries including; Ireland, a Catholic-majority, which on May 22, 2015, became the first country to legalize same-sex marriage through a popular referendum. More than six-in-ten Irish voters (62%) in that referendum voted “yes” to amend the Constitution of Ireland to say that “marriage may be contracted in accordance with law by two persons without distinction as to their sex.” Where could the Pope and the Pontiff be at the time these countries were turning their backs to God? Who was supposed to guide and lead the lost sheep in these countries?
Italy and for that matter Rome, is supposed to be the seat of Christendom, where the Papacy commands millions of Christians in the catholic faith. It will interest you to know that just a handful of them go to church to pray and praise God for his goodness, love and kindness?

Romans (Rome), is in the Bible, and presumably the only state being part of God's instructional book of faith. So by intuition, it is a blessed country that God has his hands and love on.

However, Italy is predominantly the most affected in this deadly coronavirus pandemic after China, lying glaringly in number two on the table of affected countries. Why should this happen to Rome? This is simple to digest.
Again, Italy has one of the biggest and strongest soccer leagues in the world; the Italian Seria A and paying millions of dollars to footballers each league season.

It is expected that as seat of Christendom, the number of people who go to church on Sundays and other mass service days in that country will be more than the number that visits stadia on each match playing day. However, the opposite is the real situation of the seat of the Catholic Church and hub of spiritual affirmation.

On Sundays in Rome (Romans) when the soccer league opens and in session, every church virtually becomes empty, while the stadia get packed. That is where God set his church from and that could be the simplest explanation why their punishment is enormous, for God has said in second chronicles “if my people who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land”. Similarly, God makes a firm declaration in Deuteronomy 30:10 that “if thou shall hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep His commandments and His statutes, which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.”

The manipulations of the devil?

The devil has successfully manipulated and maneuvered his way to turn God's Church country into soccer town, where soccer comes first before God and Christianity.

The footballer in Rome (Italy) gets all the good money, while Christians in other countries suffer in wars, starvation, persecution and all the ills of the world.

Punishment from God?

What the world must appreciate is that Coronavirus is not just a virus, it is God's punishment to humanity, because God is not happy.

It clearly has elements of ear dragging and pulling from the creator. Have you cared to know why children rarely get infected and can recover even without medication? God says they are innocent. God speaks in Deuteronomy 7:9, “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations.”

Maybe, but for the West including; Italy who have neglected God and insisted that He does not exist, because the world is moved by technology and science, Africa would not have recorded a single case of the Covid 19, as clearly shown in its spread to whole black Africa.

Africans continue to hold God in high esteem as creator of the universe both in tradition and in practice, even though there are few crooked men of God who exploit their congregation to show off wealth.

Recommendations

Africa must continue to resist the Western world on its imposition of the abominable legalisation of same-sex and see God as creator and owner of the universe.

African leaders must think out of the box, strengthen their relationship with God in whatever form and lead their citizens to respect and obey God as the ultimate creator.

It is baffling to think that it is evil to practice polygene (Polygamy) in Africa and rather accept this horrible beastly madness of same-sex marriages in the name of human rights, when God provides better and unadulterated right for a man to marry and have sex with a woman for procreation.

Where is the moral sense in this backward, legitimization of same-sex marriages?
And now, for the aged in the West and indeed those from the 30 notorious gay and lesbian countries who either sat unconcerned or allowed and supported same-sex marriages, and pushed for incessant disobedience to God and distrust for His existence, are those paying the price in suffering today and they must continue to suffer from this punishment because they have disappointed God.

Not even animals will chase same sex for sex.

Today humans have become wild beasts to see fellow man and say "I love you and want to marry you". Or pay money to have sex with an animal or vice versa and justify this practice on pretext as human rights. The world’s lunacy is becoming unbearable to God and he has chosen to repair it now!
God is a patient God. He gives man the freedom to do everything, but He tells us not everything is good for human life.

This punishment of coronavirus, unlike the forty days forty nights punishment of old, will not be so, it shall go beyond the forties.

It is envisaged that there shall be longer rapid clearance of the aged who stood aloof and or supported same-sex marriages to be passed into laws.
Similarly, it is envisaged that most lawmakers who accented same sex marriages will be infected with the virus and die, because it is God's plan to renew his bond with obedient sons and daughters of His creation and make everything new again.

Man has become so deviant that, he feels at par with God, because of technology.

Technology and deviance

The world has become technology inclined to the extent that man sees God as figment. God exists, He is the creator of the universe and mankind. The West and for that matter humankind can acquire all the marine powers to aid in advancing technology, but beware that 1000 years is a day in the sight of God and a day can be 1000 years in His sight.

In second Peter 3:8 God speaks “But beloved be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the LORD as a thousand years; a thousand years one day”. Man is just human in His image, and cannot abandon Him because of perceived feelings that technology is all.

The world, especially the West and all same sex legalized countries must learn to appreciate that God exist, He is the creator of the universe, everything on earth come before and from him and of His own must we give Him.

This is just a bite of the frost and clearly the gist of bigger things to come if man does not change ways from living as creators to living as created, from living as owners instead of tenants, from living in isolation instead of serving as support, and from hating instead of loving. For He says in Isaiah 66:2 “for my hand made all these things, thus all these things came into being” declares the LORD “But for this one I will look to him who is humble and contrite of spirit and who trembles at My word”.

Unfortunate Africa

Africa, and other God-fearing countries are just unfortunate streams of the passing of this punishment. These countries are innocent, and they must continue to exercise their faith in the fear of God.

Even without sophisticated medical systems, countries in Africa like Ghana are managing cases with success. These countries are innocent, however, they are beneficiaries of the wrath from the West and same-sex countries, and that is why they can't go unpunished.

In the old, God punished individuals, families and nations whenever an individual was disobedient, and so the small spikes of the viral disease will not escape Africans and other seemingly God-fearing nations and states.

Conclusion

God is merciful and forgiving and will forgive those who show remorse and follow His commandments and therefore there is hope to reconcile with Him and seek His face for forgiveness. It is therefore incumbent on the good men of God to take advantage of these horrifying times to preach salvation, love and obedience to God and trust in Him to exist and in control of His creation.

For, He has admonished man to be steadfast in second Chronicles 7:14 “if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Clearly, there is hope for humanity to trust and obey and be freed from this punishment.
It is incumbent on all countries that have accented to and legalized same sex marriages to repent and reverse these laws and strictly punish culprits for such beastly and animalistic practice in order to win God’s favour, otherwise, whatever antidotes that may be developed to control the Covid 19 disease may worsen the plight of the world.

Any attempt to develop any vaccines must strictly come with seeking God’s favour through repentant plea, because man’s only hope is God’s unfretted nature to forgive and reconcile, especially those who have gone wayward and disobeyed Him as in Deuteronomy 30:10.

May God have mercy on humanity and those nations that sincerely honour and worship Him.
May He touch and change the hearts of those nations that have ignored him and are living not too different from animals.
