Dear Mr. President,
Your decision to protect Ghanaians against hired terrorists and electoral mercenaries has touched nerves and minds which planned to invade our territorial borders to infiltrate our electoral system.
Many an NDC activist including their leadership have gone berserk over the decision to keep our borders closed as the country readies itself to compile a new register for our elections.
These people are ambidextrous when it comes to importing foreign elements to invade our electoral processes and it is just idyllic that you have kept the borders closed.
If my memory serves me right, I heard you say the border closure would be reviewed by end of July, Sir, extend it to August for us.
I have read on the timelines of some of the former appointees of Mr. Mahama referring to you as xenophobic, tribalist and fascist for the simple reason that you have kept the borders closed and strengthened same with the presence of the military to prevent any stubborn fly from taking advantage of the porous nature of some of our border posts.
Sir, ignore these people and their ulterior motives, keeping Ghanaians safe should be paramount in all you do and that’s exactly what you are doing.
Mr. President, I would suggest you add more military personnel to these sites. Your number one duty is to safeguard the lives of the people of Ghana, not Togolese or Burkinabés and even Beninois.
The NDC is shedding tears, those not of happiness but gloom simply because you have prevented some ECOWAS members from being bussed into Ghana to register and vote. Let them cry more, Sir!
No one apart from Ghanaians should determine who leads us. Moreover, the coronavirus pandemic is very much alive and so everything humanly possible ought to be done to keep the virus at bay. Foreigners coming into our country will infect us the more with the virus.
Sir, I find it puzzling why these same people have not been advocating the restrictions on foreign travels and those in the diaspora coming in to be lessened all this while but have, all of a sudden, woken up from their slumber to ask for the border to be opened for Ghanaians in Togo and Benin to come in.
The General Secretary of the NDC, in a meeting clandestinely held with some NDC fisherfolk in the Central Region whose audio has surfaced, was full of lamentations because some people in Benin cannot come to Ghana to register. He, thus, asked the fishermen to hold press conferences and demonstrations to demand that the borders be opened as we gear up for the registration exercise.
All these tacitly confirm that the agitations, demonstrations, threats of violence and the formation of IPRAN were all geared towards ensuring that Togolese and other non-Ghanaians infiltrate our electoral system.
This also speaks volumes of the NDC’s stiff opposition to the new register since the names of non-Ghanaians in the register would be a relic of the past with no hope of getting them back into our register.
I am pleading with you, Mr. President, to send more military men and women to keep our borders safe. We are tired of voting with other ECOWAS members. Keep the non-Ghanaians at bay, beyond our borders till August ending, or better still, when COVID-19 has taken a beaten from us. Until then, the borders, it is my fervent hope, that should remain shut.

I agree perfectly with you on this military deployment issue. More troops should be deployed around our borders to ensure a sound, genuine voter registration exercise. NDC is always thinking about power but never about the well-being and economic growth of Ghana....power just to loot and share....incompetent leadership. The president should keep the borders closed till the registration exercise is completely over. Are the soldiers fighting any locals where they are deployed? I don't think so. So why is NDC fretting and sweating and calling for thunder and brimstone?? What is their difficulty? Soldiers are in your town/locality to stop intruders coming from outside and you are raising hell and calling for war. I don't get it! Just go join the queue, register and get your voter ID and then go home and continue with your life and come Dec 7 go and vote for your cherished incompetent leader John Dramani. Simples!!!!
These people are evil that the often do not know where they hide their selves as asiedu nketiah visited the fisherman he also instructed them to used their cannon to bring those people to register they're the nation wreckers and they're not originated Ghana all they think is how to rig an election they have no alternative how to govern but create loot and shared
