On behalf of the board and our dedicated coordinators and on my own behalf I wish the young people of Ghana a prosperous 2016.
As a major election year, 2016 comes with several challenges particularly when politicians will use all available means to satisfy their interest.
We want to use this opportunity to urge the youth to be relentless in the pursuit of their personal set goals and career objectives instead of using all their energies on political platforms.
In all our doings, let’s take time to reflect before acting in order to save ourselves some unpleasant situations.
Whilst I encourage everyone to exercise his or her civic responsibility in the elections, I also encourage the youth not to allow themselves to be used as tools for violence during and after the declaration of the election results.
I appeal to hosts and producers of political talk shows to be more decorous in their discourse and if possible stop parading political party commentators from discussing sensitive issues they sometimes have no idea about on their shows.
Once again I wish the Ghanaian youth well. Thank you
Long live Ghana
Signed
Ali Tanti Robert
(Executive Director)
