Our attention has been drawn to a publication on Peacefmonline on the 18th April 2018 which has been captioned as “Northern Regional NPP Youth Wing Endorses Dominic Eduah” which has been attributed to us as a team.

We wish to categorically state that we have not in any time met Mr. Dominic Eduah at the Tamale Central office of the NPP to discuss any matter relating to the NPP not to talk of endorsing him.

Indeed a section of us as Youth Organizers Caucus made up of 25 out of 62 met Mr. Dominic Eduah at Mafara Hotel in Tamale on the 8th of April, 2018 as delegates to the National Delegates congress.

We had a number of discussions with him as an aspirant and he presented his vision to us in relation to the youth organizer position. At the meeting we did not take any decision to endorse him but only listened to him and encourage him for making his intentions known to us.

It is also good to note that the Northern Regional Youth Wing is headed by the Regional Youth organizer who wasn’t part of the meeting and we could not have taken such a decision representing a wing headed by a leader who wasn’t present.

Again a reference was made to the Chairman of the Caucus, Mr. Jack Imoro Bugli Yakubu which reads “I remember you Dominic as deputy youth organizer stood behind me during the Talensi by-election struggle. This shows how committed you are to the NPP when your other contenders were nowhere to be found”. This quotation and reference is without merit and cannot be associated to him (Yakubu Jack Imoro).

Our Chairman indicated that he never met him in Talensi during the by-election but rather it was he Dominic who brought up such conversation at our meeting with him.

We are also disappointed that the said meeting was recorded and been circulated without our knowledge just to support this mischief.

Finally, we wish to categorically states that we have not endorsed Mr Dominic Eduah but we only gave him a listening ear and support as an aspirant and the current deputy national youth organiser of the NPP.
