His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu has been instrumental in the peaceful atmosphere Ghanaians are enjoying now, he played a vital and major role in bringing peace to Dagbon and other national issues.

Recently His Majesty was invited to deliver a speech at the UN General Assembly and he truthfully made it known to the world the role he played immediately after the 2016 general election, he enlightened the crowd on how he persuaded the incumbent who was unwilling to accept the outcome of the election to accept defeat.

However former chief of staff under ex President released a statement refuting Otumfuo earlier assertion, claiming John Mahama wasn't persuaded to accept defeat. Our problems is that throughout the years The King has been making same comment on other platforms but there wasn't any rebuttal or attacks on him so why now? Was it because of the stage where he made the recent comment?

To add to what Otumfuo said, we all remember after the 2016 elections how Charlotte Osei was not willing to declare the winner and he kept the whole nation in suspense because John was not ready to accept the outcome. At a moment Charlotte Osei the former EC Chairperson made it known to the whole world that there was an over voting in the Ashanti region which was untrue.

The King His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu never lied so the statement from John Mahama through Julius Debrah is a ploy to dent the image of the Asante Kingdom and we are giving him one week to apologise and retract that pedestrian statement he released.
