But Simon Cowell was anything but stern when he took to the stage at the 24th Music Industry Trusts Awards on Monday night, as the 56-year-old star left the audience in heaps of laughter, particularly when he poked fun at his love of Botox.
Accepting the 2015 Music Industry Trusts Award on the evening, the talent show judge quipped: 'I want to say a special mention to somebody who made my TV career last 14 years, he's not here tonight but he deserves a special mention.
