Sarah Cudjoe, a 32-year-old trader, has been fined 600 Ghana Cedis by the Tarkwa Circuit Court, for unlawfully causing harm to Kwamina Awuozo, a mechanic.
In default, she will serve 18 months imprisonment in hard labour.
Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Edward Paddy, told the court presided over by Mr. Justice Obeng Asante, that both the accused person and Awuozo reside at Nsuaem.
He said around 2.00 p.m.on February 2, Awuozo had a quarrel with his younger sister, Rosemond Koomson.
Chief Inspector Paddy said the accused person later joined the quarrel and in the process, she pelted Awuozo with stones.
The Prosecutor said Awuozo sustained a deep cut on his head, and he reported the incident to the Police.
Awuozo was issued with a police medical report to attend hospital for treatmentt.
Chief Inspector Paddy said, Sarah was later arrested, and after investigations, she was charged with the offence.
