Police in the Oti region have begun investigations into the murder of a man at Nkonya Ntsumuru.
The deceased, identified as Daniel Brempong, was allegedly ambushed and shot dead by unknown assailants on his way to the farm.
The incident according to police reports occurred on Monday, August 1, 2022.
The body of the victim has since been deposited at the Margaret Marquart Catholic hospital morgue at Kpando for autopsy and preservation.
Police in the region have intensified patrols in the community and its enclave to ensure law and order given the volatile crime situation in the area.
The police report issued by ASP John Nchor, the Acting Public Affairs Officer for the Oti region is further urging the public to remain calm as investigations continue to get the perpetrators.
