The National Service Scheme has said all prospective national service personnel will be required to undergo pre-registration in accordance with the secretariat’s realignment and new posting schedule.
A statement issued on Wednesday in Accra and signed by the acting Executive Director, Dr. Michael Kpessah Whyte noted that all prospective national service personnel will be required to complete payment of their pre-registration fee of 40 GHC at any branch of the Agricultural Development Bank(ADB) across the country, using their uniquely assigned pin codes.
It added that prospective national service personnel will be given access to the Secretariat’s online registration platform to register to be deployed for 2015/2016 national service.
It therefore “urged all prospective national service personnel to take note of this new registration procedure and comply accordingly.”
The new changes in the registration procedure were devised to prevent a recurrence of financial malfeasance at the Secretariat.
