A 12-seater sanitary facility has been constructed for the Pantang Hospital, situated in the Ga East Municipality of the Greater Accra Region to improve sanitation conditions in the hospital.
The facility was particularly erected closer to the Out Patient Department (OPD) of the hospital to help bring comfort to patients who access the health facility on a daily basis.
The project was part of measures adopted by the Ga East Assembly to boost infrastructure in the health sector.
Again, a 2-storey OPD block is under construction in the Madina Kekele Polyclinic, which when completed will serve the people in the area in its environs.
On security, a street lightening project with the installation of new solar lights is steadily in progress in parts of the municipality.
