The Awutu-Effutu-Senya office of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), registered about 1,000 new members from September 24- September 26.
According to Mr Josiah Doam Kittoe (Jnr), Manager of the Scheme, the exercise forms parts of activities marking the 10th anniversary of the policy.
Addressing workers of the scheme to run-off the two-day registration exercise, Mr Kittoe said the programme would be sustained to assist the scheme maintain its top position as the highest premium collection and membership mobilisation in the Central Region.
He emphasised the need for the scheme employees to consider the policy as their personal project and work tirelessly to ensure its success.
