The Executive Director of the Wildlife Division of the Forestry Commission, Nana Kofi Adu-Nsiah, has added his voice to calls on people to stop eating bats.
This is because through the consumption of bats, one can contract the Ebola virus.
As a step to forestall the spread of the virus in the country, the Commission has stopped issuing licenses for hunting of the mammals.
Meanwhile, a cross section of the public Radio Ghana spoke to say they have heard of the viral disease, Ebola but do not know anything about it.
