The Quarantine Center to accommodate patients who show any sign of the Ebola disease in the various public facilities within the Greater Accra Region is ready at the Tema General Hospital.
The 10 by 25 meter facility, which has a concrete base covered with plastic carpet; is partitioned with both plywood and metal.
It has louvre blades as well as entrance and exit doors; and roofed with T and G.
Though a temporary structure, the entire building has been covered with a special tent to withstand the effects of the weather and prolong its lifespan.
Meanwhile the inside of the facility is yet to be painted.
