Over 250 people drawn from a number of communities in Accra have benefited from a free medical screening organized last Saturday by a non-governmental organization (NGO), Networking for Hope in alliance with the Jambo Medical Centre.
This initiative dubbed Restoring Hope 2019 was conducted on Saturday, 5th October to offer free general health screening and consultation services for people at the Jambo Medical Centre at Alajo, a suburb of Accra.
Within the total number of participants who benefited from the activity, close to 35 are set to undergo free medical surgeries at the end of October based on the surgery scopes from the team. Surgeries to be conducted will include gynaecological surgeries, fibroids, knee surgeries, among others.
The team of professional medical experts made up of doctors, pharmacists, paramedics and nurses from Ghana executed the free medical screening.
Networking for Hope has been at this for years, making great strides in improving the lives of people and reaching communities in Ghana with donations, medical supplies and quality healthcare packages through free screening and series of surgeries to participants.
The NGO, Networking for Hope is particularly committed to creating good living conditions, empowering dreams and building human capacity.
