One more person has tested positive for coronavirus at Walewale in the West Mamprusi Municipality of the North East region.
This brings to two, the total number of confirmed cases in the North East region, according to health officials there.
The case was recorded as part of ongoing testing of 43 contacts, including family relatives and health staff, identified as having been exposed to a 19 year old patient who died last week.
Ghana has so far recorded 641 confirmed COVID 19 cases with 83 recovery.
Health authorities say more contacts are being traced as part of intensified measures to stop the spread of the virus.
