Former Minister for Communications, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, has sent a word of encouragement to Health Minister, Kwaku Ayeman Manu following reports that the latter and some members of his family have tested positive for coronavirus.
News went rife Saturday, that Mr. Agyeman Manu has been undergoing treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre after testing positive.
Accra-based station, Starr FM also reported that the minister was tested after his family; wife and son, were taken to the intensive care Unit of UGMC.
Though the minister has denied the suggestions, insisting he is only at the facility for diabetes medication and for rest, many have taken to social media to express doubt about it.
Mr. Omane Boamah, on his part, took to his twitter handle, to share some words of encouragement with the Minister, wishing him well and offering a prayer for him.
“Wishing Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, Minister for Health, well as he recovers from his ailment. We pray for all who have been afflicted and affected; God hear our prayers.” He wrote.
