Former Minister for Communications, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah says Ghanaians should not deliberately flout COVID-19 safety protocols as the country readies to receive 19.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines at the end of June.
He said on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ that adhering to COVID-19 safety protocols is the best way to fight the spread of the virus.
According to him, COVID-19 vaccine cannot not guarantee one’s safety – after insisting that “we must all protect ourselves”.
“Vaccine is not 100% protective; you take more than two doses and yet it will not work,” he said.
