President John Mahama Thursday morning took some time off an otherwise business schedule to have a brief interaction with Presidential Press corp as he marks his 54th birthday today.
President Mahama was interacting with the Media at the Residency in Cape Coast.
President Mahama said he was grateful to God for his blessings over the period and looked forward to a one touch victory.
He also dedicated the day to the good people of Ghana and to the forthcoming elections.
He prayed that the elections will go peacefully and successfully and that Ghana will come out once again very proud and continue to be held as the model of democracy in Africa.
He thanked God for God's Favour over Ghana.
Our Correspondent says the President has since jumped unto the Campaign platform on day two of his campaign in the Central region.
He is expected to address Mini rallies at the Kotokuraba market, Elmina, Abura Dunkwa, Assin Manso, Ajumako Besease, Otuam and Breman Asikuma.
