President John Dramani Mahama is to launch a Youth Enterprise Support (YES) initiative for which a GH�10 million seed money has been allocated.
The move is aimed at assisting young entrepreneurs with capital to run their businesses.
A statement from the Flagstaff House said the launch, will take place at the State Banquet Hall at 7pm today (Tuesday) and that it will be broadcast live on Ghana Television, Metro TV and Tv3.
According to the statement, the YES initiative was a fulfillment of President Mahama's 2012 campaign promise to support young Ghanaians to develop their innovative business ideas into viable and profitable business entities to help create employment opportunities to absorb other youth.
Meanwhile President Mahama is expected to join the youth of Ghana at the Accra International Conference Centre to celebrate the 2014 International Youth Day.
