The Minister of Communications, Dr Edward Omane Boamah has indicated that there was no Ghanaian casualty in the recent terrorist attack in Paris, France.
Armed gunmen opened fire on audience watching a concert at the Bataclan theatre, leaving over 100 people dead and many seriously wounded.
Speaking to the issue in an interview on PEACE FM morning show 'Kokrokoo', Dr Omane Boamah said government has been in touch with Ghana's embassy in Paris "and per their reports, there has been no Ghanaian casualty recorded in the attack".
According to him, even though the situation is unfortunate and condemnable, "we are grateful to God that no Ghanaian was involved...we sympathise with families who were affected by this attack".
