A suspected cocaine dealer arrested at Techiman in the Brong Ahafo Region has been granted bail by the Fiapre Circuit.
Report says Mohammed Shefiu was arrested after he openly declared on a local radio station in Techiman that he deals in cocaine and that the police in the area cannot bring him to book because he has bought their conscience with money.
Sources say a youth group in the area initiated his arrest after the police failed to apprehend him.
In the interim, the suspect, Mohammed Shefiu, has been granted bail—and will reappear before the Fiapre Circuit Court on the 17th of November this year.
