The Senior Paster of the First Baptist church, Tema has admonished the newly nominated Special Prosecutor, Mr Martin Amidu, to be fair and bring justice to the people of Ghana.
“Corruption is not just a perception, corruption is real. I believe with the coming of the Special Prosecutor, it would be a warning to all that if we take the nation for granted, the law will catch up with us.” Reverend David Kwame said on Sunday.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on the sidelines of the sod-cutting ceremony for the commencement of a multi purpose development project at the church premises, he said corruption was an ungodly act and that Christains should avoid and condemn it.
The project, which would cost about two million dollars, would be funded through contributions of members with the first phase expected to be completed between 12 and 15 weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Francis Tuyee, who were founding members of the church, and had been fellowshipping with the church for over forty years, cut the sod for the commencement of the project.
They expressed joy to have been part of the history and development of the Church.

Corruption is a sin against God's creation and humanity. I it is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10). It is the cause of poverty, social and moral decadence, poor education and health delivery, social injustice, lack of infrastructure, social amenities and progress. It is also, to a large extent, the cause of of many accidents, endemic diseases, unemployment, robbery, environmental degradation, social disorder and breakdowns. Corruption is more evil than any single sin that one can name. Therefore, the passion to fight corruption must be desired and supported by all who love God and care for his creation. The fight against corruption is a very important service rendered to God to promote his goodness to all and protect his image and likeness in every individual person in the society. Let us all pray, support and join the fight against corruption as we struggle to promote the quality of life and the dignity of the human person. FrPOP
People should know that Martin is not a judge, but rather a prosecutor. He is going to prosecute with EVIDENCE! This kind of us*e*less admonishments is nauseating. Only the witches will be hunted so go sleep if you're not a witch.
