International Relations and Security Expert, Irbard Ibrahim, says Anas have chosen a path in naming, shaming and jailing perceived corrupt practices but his method is problematic despite his exploits.
He suggested Anas Aremeyaw Anas is also prone to extreme danger due to the method of journalism he has decided to pursue. However, the method he is using raises the issue of ethics and morality, he added. Speaking on the debate over the method used by Anas, he said, the method needs to be reviewed.
Irbard Ibrahim also made reference to the allegations leveled against Anas by Kennedy Agyapong, the MP for Assin Central and has called for caution. ‘’We will commend Anas for his tremendous work but we have to tread cautiously. Anas is a national hero but someone is raising concerns over the modus operandi and methods.
I believe that, instead of blaming ourselves, let’s subject this to intellectual national debate. Should the state support Anas or is he working as an individual? Instead of giving him huge amount of money, we could strengthen our institutions by resourcing EOCO and the rest,’’ to support him.
‘’His methodology is problematic because every human being has got a price. You may reject some monetary offers but you may not be able to resist some offers,’’ and setting an example he said, ‘’you may have done something for someone and in showing an appreciation; the person may decide to give you something.
Are we going to call this an entrapment, bribe, a gift or what? The security analyst stressed that it won’t be fair to either take sides over the ongoing saga between Anas and Mr. Agyapong.
But we have to look at the two angles holistically so in continuing his [Anas’] investigative work, we will streamline him so the methodology and ethics would be re-looked at.’’ On the release of the supposed pictures of Anas he said, the investigator has chosen a path that puts his life at extreme risk.
‘’It is part of the occupational hazards. This is the path the young man has chosen for himself and I believe he and the family, understand the risk involved. Anas is aware of the risks associated with his style of journalism,’’ he told Kwame Tutu on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm.

It does not matter if Anas investigation started 2 years ago or 10 years ago all we want is for Anas to expose bad people in the society. Who cares if is NDC or NPP, we don't even give a demnnnnn if is president or mahama.
Mr Irbard, I agree with you to some extent, but will challenge honorable Kennedy Agyapong to also come out with his evidence if indeed Anas is involved in any bribery or corruption act, than to continue to ***barred word*** and rage on radio and tv
Ndc members must understand Anas #number 12 started 2 years ago and that time it was ndc in power so they should stop jumping and kicking, he showed it to the President and his team because Kwesi Nyantakyi used the President and his Vice to extort monies for himself in this latest episode and the whole thing is about the GFA so let's wait and see, but he must be ready to show what he did about the mahama boys and the last parliamemt. His credibility is at stake because of not showing those videos about the last Parliament and the Mahama boys, which is giving way to money changed hands. Why would he show the judges collecting nothing but tubers of yam and goats, leaving out those who collected huge sums of money to be making noise in this country? and that his weakness has led to Kennedy Agyepong's tantrums which is making his credibility questionable. Why would a true authentic investigator expose to shame some and cover up others?, that is discrimination and unfair!
SECURITY EXPERT MY FOOT... WE WON'T BE DECEIVED NO MORE BY THIS SO CALLED EDUCATED PEOPLE. WHY WON'T OUR FRIENDS IN OTHER COUNTRIES NOT DECLARE WAR AGAINST WESTERN CIVILIZATION AND CULTURE IF EDUCATED EXPERTS LIKE THIS GUY KEEPS TALKING LIKE HE'S IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY... GHANA IS BLEEDING DUE TO THE CORRUPTION TAKING PLACE AND WHEN ONE PUTS HIS LIFE ON THE LINE TO MAKE GHANA A BETTER PLACE, YOU TRY TO GO AGAINST IT.... THINK LIKE A PATRIOT OF GHANA AND NOT LIKE A SLAVE BEING USED BY HIS EDUCATED MASTERS... SECURITY EXPECT WHO CAN'T EVEN KNOW AND SAY GHANA IS ON A TIME BOMB... GHANA IS BLEEDING SO PLEASE STOP HURTING US
Monkey face idiottttt
respect boss, I salute. only ple with brains will understand your point and i am happy to be one of those ple. common sense is not even common these days so i understand the insults from some of the ple who commented be4 me. nobody wants to shield corrupt ple in the society but let us use a good way to get them. how can someone be corrupt without another person on the other side. there is always a giver and a taker. so if u truly want to expose corrupt ple u must expose both the giver and the taker and not only the taker. it is a not not not. u dont set ple up and say they are corrupt. he has to change his method bcos only 1d10ts will hail him for his current method.
Mr. security expert, you are an idiotttttt. Let me tell you I am priceless. If you can be bought don't think all can be bought.
On What Grounds are a security expert, which or what modus operand of Anas investigation is wrong. Experts speak on specificity and proffer solutions but does not have general comment on issues. what is the issue with Anas modus, what do you suggest.
WHY DID HE NOT SHOW THE WORLD THE CORRUPT PARLIAMENT UNDER COVER VIDEO ,WHY DID MAHAMA STOPPED HIM .BOTH ARE NTAFO HUH
I don't understand people who raise issues with Anas' investigative methods. Do you guys think Anas would have been able to catch the judges and the cocoa smuggles had he announce to them ahead of time that he's going to conduct investigations on them? Things that are done in the dark can only be brought to light by means of 'dark' techniques. Undercover investigations are acceptable even in advanced societies!
