Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has joined thousands of people paying glowing tribute to former General Secretary of the United Nations, Kofi Annan.
Ghana and the rest of the international community last Saturday morning woke up to the stunning news of the death of former UN Head.
Kofi Annan passed away in Switzerland after a short illness. He was 80 years old.
Mr Kufuor, paying tribute in an interview on Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo' with host, Kwami Sefa Kayi, showered the Nobel Peace Prize with accolades including being a God-fearing and loving person.
According to him, Kofi Annan whether in peacekeeping, healthcare, agriculture; showed love and excelled in all.
"...you will never hear him raise his voice or threaten anyone. Even in his quietness, he was very strong...he believed in the fact that we should be our brothers' keeper. may he rest in peace," he added.
