Tarkwa-Nsuaem MP, George Mireku Duker has admonished Ghanaians to strictly abide by the COVID-19 safety protocols.
Ghana's COVID-19 case count has jumped up, giving a cause for worry.
The country has recorded 6,086 active cases, according to the Ghana Health Service.
Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" programme, Hon. Mireku Duker was optimistic that the viral disease will soon die out of Ghana should all citizens follow the protocols of wearing nose masks, social distancing among others seriously.
"If we will all follow the protocols, the disease will disappear within two weeks," he said.
