The Founder and Leader of the Alive Chapel International, Bishop Dr. Elisha Salifu Amoako has called on young girls who have taken to social media to post their nakedness and share their secrets to the world to learn a lesson from the predicament of Rosemond Brown, known in showbiz as Akuapem Poloo.

According to him, the imprisonment of Akuapem Poloo should be a wake-up call and a concern for Ghanaians especially the young ladies who are on social media displaying everything about themselves to the world.

"What has happened is a concern for all Ghanaians. When something happens, we have to learn from it. What has happened to Akuapem Poloo is a lesson to all Ghanaians especially our young ladies who are always on social media displaying their nakedness, their secrets, and everything about them," he cautioned.

Speaking to the media last Sunday in his office regarding Akuapem Poloo's prison sentence, Bishop Salifu Amoako warned against some offensive activities that Ghanaians do but get away from the claws of the law.

He stressed that it is even an offense to post someone's pictures on social media without the person's consent; thus, there are so many laws in the country that many Ghanaians are not aware of but it does not stop the laws from being active when they are being raised in court.

To him, the Judge simply carried out her constitutional duty after Akuapem Poloo herself pleaded guilty with the full consent of her lawyer to the charges brought against her by the Prosecutor.

"The problem is that when Akuapem Poloo went to court she pleaded guilty to all the charges against her, and those charges she pleaded to are against the law and since it is the against the law, then the Judge has the right to pronounce judgment in accordance with the law," he stated.

He, however, advised that, "the fact that it is a free platform and you can afford a credit to operate the medium should not allow you to discredit others on social media. We have laws against this action because if you insult me on social media, I have the right to sue you for destroying my image".

He further encouraged Akuapem Poloo to make the best out of her situation as she can seize the moment to write a book about her prison experience and even create a career through her predicament.

He reiterated that she [Akuapem Poloo] should not see her imprisonment as a punishment but rather a place of reform as well as an opportunity for God to turn things around in her life, reminding her of how great men like Joseph in the Bible and Nelson Mandela of South Africa came out of prison to be great men.
