Senior Psychologist, Professor Joseph Osafo, has urged Ghanaians to treasure State assets like their own, especially those working in the public sector.
Contributing to "Kokrokoo" show on Peace FM Monday morning, Professor Joseph Osafo bemoaned the attitude of some Ghanaians towards government work as some show little to no care when it comes to working for the State.
In advising people to be industrious, the Head of Psychology at the University of Ghana explained what he termed as the 'psychology of work'.
He stated that work improves the mental state of an individual, hence admonishing Ghanaians to value work.
"When you work, it protects your mental health, because work gives you structure and work provides meaning. It helps you to find purpose in life," he said.
