Large sections of the Kasoa township in the Greater Accra Region are reported to have been engulfed by flood waters.
Attempts by households to rid their homes of the water is reported to be having a spill over effect on the traffic situation in the area.
An eyewitness who gave his name as Nii Nartei Nartey, said, on the Citi Breakfast Show, that rain water from the hills have rushed downhill around the STC junction and bojo beach junction
According to him the water has caused something like a gully with a large pool of water making it difficult for vehicles to move on one side of the road.
He noted that people are pumping the water from their homes on the streets hence leaving a greater section of the roads covered with water.
