The people of Adumasah, Brofuyedru, Darko and Apimanim, led by Nana Kwaku Poku Amoabeng Otumfuo Osei Tutus Nkabomhene who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Great Mission Hotel, have called on the Ministry of Roads and Highways to quickly repair the bad roads in their various towns.
Nana Amoabeng expressed the concern last Saturday as the towns face an imminent sit-down strike by commercial vehicle drivers because of the deplorable road network in the aforementioned areas.
Trotro and taxi drivers have threatened that they would not operate in the towns due to the bad roads linking them. The outcome can only be imagined if they carry out the threat, he said.
He also asked for the intervention of the Atwima Kwanwoma District Chief Executive in the matter.
