Courtesy Vodafone Ghana, five hardworking ladies are fortunate to be selected and benefit from the Female Engineering Student Sponsorship Program, packaged by the company.
Edith Ghunney, Rebekah Bedford, Jocelyne Aduakye, J�ezekella Afoakwah and Maa Korkor Ghunney emerged as the five beneficiaries to pick up their awards during a short ceremony organized at the head office of Vodafone Ghana.
In an interview with Stella Agyenim Boateng, who is the HR Director of Vodafone Ghana, she noted that the FESSP is one of the company�s initiatives to give female students the opportunity to work with a brand like Vodafone.
She however made it clear that the program is geared towards awarding female students who are reading engineering in the various universities across the country.

The plaques on display
The award according to her, consist of payment of academic user fees for the candidates who have selected and giving them electronic gadgets to support them in their research works and studies.
On top of this, Stella Agyenim Boateng added that the five ladies would be given free air time and money which would be used to purchase books for their studies.
They would also be given room to have their internship with Vodafone Ghana and the time is up for their national service, same would be done.
The selected ladies could also enjoy the company�s flagship program which is known as Discover which is a management program for young graduates. It all ends with an opportunity to gain full employment with Vodafone.
