In less than 24 hours from now, the Supreme Court will be delivering its final judgement on the 2012 Presidential Election Petition.
The petition, which filed by the 2012 Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo and two others sought to challenge the validity of President John Mahama as the winner of last year's Presidential election.
Run up to the historic judgement has been subjugated by calls, for the parties involved to accept the verdict in good faith and the need to maintain the country's peace.
The Police Administration has also made security arrangement to avert any possible clash that could erupt around the court premise. For this reason, they have warned the public to stay a 100-metre radius away from the court premises and promised to beef up security Thursday if the need arises.
Aside this bold step by the police to protect our democracy, various media houses have made strenuous efforts to sanitize the airwaves.
Leaders of both parties have also promised to respect the verdict of the court and urged their supporters to emulate their action.
