Audio Attachment:Editor-in-chief of the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper, Egbert Faibille Jnr, excoriates Dr. Arthur Kobina Kennedy, saying he (Kennedy) is trying real hard to make himself count in the politics of the country and advises him to first wean himself off students' politics.

The Editor-in-chief of the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper, Egbert Faibille Jnr, has once again charged into Dr. Arthur Kobina Kennedy, describing him as a footage of Ghana’s Political history.

According to the Lawyer cum Journalist, Arthur Kennedy’s supposed reaction to his comments about him, more than justifies what he (Egbert) said, “I will not change my views about him and I think he is a footage of Ghana’s political history,” he told Citi Fm.

And it seems the pendulum has swung from media battles with Malik Kwaku Baako, to that of a war with the Editor-in chief of the “Ghanaian Observer”, Egbert Faibille, looking at the latest verbal riposte between the two personalities.

Mr. Egbert Faibille is reported to have advised Dr. Kennedy "to wean himself off student politics and refrain from portraying shallow ideas."

But in a rejoinder, Dr. Arthur Kennedy described the Editor of the GO newspaper as having a rather narrow and distorted view of loyalty when the latter accused him of disloyalty for authoring a book without regards to the contents.

Egbert, meanwhile insists that though every political party and individual has the right to do an introspection, Dr. Arthur Kennedy’s penchant for penning down what transpired before, during and after the 2008 General Elections, without recourse to the sentiments of the party in general, and leading members of the NPP in particular, portrayed his shallowness in politics.

As the Communications Director for the Nana Addo 2008 Campaign Team, the GO Editor said, Arthur Kennedy also performed below par, leading to the NPP’s defeat in the elections.

“He did a woefully, if you like, inadequate job. He created a mess out of the opportunity given him by Nana Akufo-Addo…He should wean himself off students’ politics, because he is a booknote to political history…He is trying too hard to make himself relevant but time has long passed him by,” he added.
