President John Evans Atta Mills leaves Accra today for Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, to attend the 17th session of the assembly of the African Union Heads of State and Government, a statement issued in Accra and signed by Koku Anyidoho, Head of Communications at The Castle said.
The summit will discuss the challenges associated with empowering the youth and making them forces of development, and is anchored to the theme �Accelerating Youth Empowerment For Sustainable Development�.
President Mills, according to the statement, will share his agenda for youth empowerment with his colleagues. The President is expected to back in Accra on Sunday, July 2, 2011.
