The Progressive People�s Party (PPP) at the weekend took its nationwide tour to the Eastern Region.
Led by its national officers including National Secretary, Kofi Asamoah-Siaw; Director of Operations, Nana Ofori-Owusu, and; Deputy Director of Communications, Samuel Amoako, the party visited Lower Manya, Odumase Krobo where they interacted with executives in the area.
Speaking to Today, Mr. Asamoah-Siaw described the meeting as �very good.�
He said national officers stressed the party�s re-organisation strategy and the need to recruit loyal and committed members at the polling station level.
According to him, constituency executives and members endorsed the party�s position to have MMDCE�s elected and pledged to join the crusade to get a lot more people to accept and sign the petition drive initiated by the party�s 2012 flag bearer, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom.
Earlier, the team was joined by party stalwarts- Ladi Nylander, Uncle Mike Eghan- and Becky Agbogah, a member of the women�s wing, to attend a funeral invitation by Mr. Hayford Akrofi, a progressive member of the CPP at Tutu Akwapim.
