The former New Patriotic Party NPP Member of Parliament for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa, Hon. Paul Collins Appiah Ofori, has forewarned the minister of trade under the erstwhile Kufour regime, Alan Kyerematen, not to dream of picking up the flagbearership mantle of the New Patriotic Party; should Nana Akufo-Addo step down.
He threw his weight behind the current vice presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and declared that the magnificent contributions he made during last years general elections to the party, makes him the right person to replace Nana Akufo-Addo.
Speaking on Peace FM, Hon. Paul Collins Appiah Ofori revealed that he would personally campaign against Alan Kyeremanten should he show any sign or desire to lead the New Patriotic Party after Nana Akufo-Addo.
He emphatically stated that Mr. Kyeremanten never supported the party after he lost the presidential primaries.
Hon. Paul Collins Appiah Ofori explained that Dr. Bawumia has broad knowledge about economic management and that attribute would prevent other nations from cheating us.
