Five District Chief Executives (DCEs) in the Ashanti Region have been sworn-in with a call to them to be humble and modest in their lifestyles.
Mr Samuel Yaw Adusei, Deputy Regional Minister, said they need to develop cordial working relationship with stakeholders by making themselves approachable.
�The surest way for you to earn respect and win the support and confidence of your people is to make yourselves accessible to them, listen to them, empathise with them and share their aspirations to win their hearts.�
The DCEs are Nana Asare Bediako, Atwima-Nwabiagya, Mr Benjamin Anhwere, Adansi South, Mr David Addae-Amankwaa, Mr Iddisa Adams, Kwabre East, and Mr Samuel Kwadwo Appiah-Kubi, Offinso North.
Mr Adusei advised them to avoid partisanship in their approach to issues and ensure that the general good of the people is made their highest priority.
He urged them to work hard towards building a strong and resilient economy through transparent and accountable governance as well as infrastructure expansion.
